Alterations

We offer a variety of alteration services.

Most commonly, we provide:

  • hems and seams repaired
  • hems and sleeves shortened or lengthened
  • buttons/buttonholes replaced or re-attached
  • zippers replaced or repaired
  • linings replaced or repaired
  • pockets replaced or repaired
  • jeans patched and repaired
  • formal wear altered and custom fitted

We alter, repair, and re-size clothing for men, women, and children. We also perform the alteration of:

  • draperies, curtains and valances
  • bedding, throw pillows and linens
  • tablecloths and napkins
  • police, fire, military, school, commercial uniforms
  • clerical robes

Our general turn around time for alterations is two weeks. If you have a rush order, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you know your measurements (for example, the inseam for pants to be hemmed) you can stop in any time to drop off alterations. If you require a fitting, please call ahead to schedule that with the worker bees.
