About

There has been a laundromat at 83 Elm Street in Camden since at least the 1980’s. Clean Bee Laundry was established during the summer of 2009 by the Temple family. They purchased what had been known as Spotless Cleaners with the following goals:

  • To have their own business that gives them a decent living and financial independence
  • To make a living by doing tasks they enjoy
  • To run a small business that incorporates their values
  • To meet people from all over the world
  • To share their enthusiasm for midcoast Maine with others
  • To be more available for their children

Clean Bee Laundry is a member of the Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce, Belfast Chamber of Commerce, Maine Women’s Network, the Real Diaper Industry Association and a supporter of local radio and educational opportunities both locally and in Guatemala.
