About

There’s been a laundromat at 83 Elm Street in Camden since at least the 1980’s. Clean Bee Laundry was established during the summer of 2009 by the Temple family. They purchased what had been known as Spotless Cleaners with the following goals:

  • To own a business that provides a decent living and financial independence
  • To make a living by doing tasks they enjoy
  • To run a small business where they can incorporates their values
  • To meet people from all over the world
  • To share their enthusiasm for midcoast Maine with others
  • To be more available for their children

Clean Bee Laundry is a member of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, Camden Downtown Business Group, the Real Diaper Industry Association and a supporter of educational opportunities both locally and in Guatemala.

Clean Bee Laundry’s mission is to provide exceptional laundry service. Friendly, knowledgeable worker bees, a welcoming atmosphere, and environmental stewardship make us the place to bee for laundry in the midcoast.
